Southcentral Foundation’s Virtual Nuka Winter Conference is less than two months away! The conference offers individuals and organizations a virtual opportunity to learn about SCF’s two-time Malcolm Baldrige award-winning Nuka System of Care. For those interested in taking a deeper dive into SCF’s Nuka System of Care, SCF is also offering two intensive add-ons with the conference: an Integrated Care Team Webinar, and Introduction to Core Concepts.
The Integrated Care Team Webinar will provide a detailed look at how SCF’s Integrated Care Teams (ICTs) build strong relationships with customer-owners and with each other. The webinar will feature sessions on change management, the history of ICTs at SCF, roles and responsibilities of team members, best practices for team operation, implementation strategies for ICTs, behavioral health integration, and more. It will also feature a panel with one of SCF’s ICTs, discussing ICT operation from their perspective.
Introduction to Core Concepts is an introductory training based on SCF’s Core Concepts training, a communication and relationship-building training taken by all SCF employees. The training will feature sessions on the purpose and context of the communication techniques developed in the training, how to share and respond to story, personal vision, creative tension, and more. The training will also include the opportunity for participants to share their stories in small virtual Learning Circles.
The intensives are two-day sessions that take place after the Virtual Nuka Winter Conference, on February 11 and 12, 2021. More information, as well as registration links, can be found here. If you have any questions about the intensives, or the Virtual Nuka Winter Conference, feel free to contact the SCF Learning Institute. We hope to see you at the conference!
