Thank You to 9th Annual Nuka System of Care Conference Attendees!

Southcentral Foundation would like to thank everyone who attended the 9^th Annual Nuka System of Care Conference. Over 130 people attended the conference this year, coming from all over Alaska, the United States, and other countries such as Canada, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.

SCF enjoyed hearing the stories of people from such diverse locations and backgrounds, and appreciated the opportunity to share our story with such an audience. We hope that all attendees found the conference valuable and will take back lessons from SCF’s Nuka System of Care to improve their own health care systems.

Evaluation data from the conference shows that attendee satisfaction was high. Of survey respondents who attended the pre-conference Core Concepts session, 93 percent said they were Very Satisfied with the training, and 7 percent said they were somewhat satisfied. When asked whether they would recommend the Nuka Conference to colleagues, 81 percent strongly agreed and 19 percent agreed. 81 percent strongly agreed that they would use the information at the conference to improve their agencies, with 19 percent agreeing. 86 percent strongly agreed that they were satisfied with the Nuka Conference, and 14 percent agreed.
